London Fire Brigade

The challenge

We were briefed to devise new brand guidelines to support the London Fire Brigade’s switch of focus from ‘fire fighting’ to ‘fire prevention’, and encourage a change in behaviour in Londoners to take more personal responsibility for fire prevention in their home.

The creative

We ran focus groups with staff and Londoners to involve them on the journey to creating a new visual and verbal brand style. LBF was born. We created a communication strategy and guidelines to engage Londoners and amplify the modern firefighter’s role as community educators with residents, schools and businesses.

The results

Over the past X years, the LFB have reported a X% reduction in fires, which can be partly attributed to the success of the fire prevention campaign.
