2020 saw a switch in shopping patterns, which sparked an online boom. Now more than ever this ‘year in review’ report based on independent research into online shopping trends offered invaluable insights for retailers.

For the past 11 years these reports have provided all the facts and stats needed for a clear view of UK online shopping habits, from demographics to who’s buying what, delivery preferences and rising demand for easy returns. Each area was brought to life with interesting infographics, illustrations and digestible, flickable content. 

This was a year unlike any other for retailers who navigated social restrictions on the high street, lockdown and evolving government guidelines. Extra insight was required in the shape of month-by-month COVID-19 reports. They charted an unprecedented rise in online demand to evolving shopping preferences (gardening and DIY to books and electronics).
