The challenge

When you’re providing multi-technical services that cost millions of pounds, you need your employees to follow tried and tested procedures to the letter. But Spie’s huge, phase-based projects meant staff weren’t taking responsibility for passing along to the next phase team properly, or were putting unnecessary risks on the entire supply chain. Spie needed an internal communications campaign that encouraged the internal audience of construction workers to think about protecting the entire project rather than just their section.

The creative

Previously, Spie had used a corporate stock photography style, and this campaign needed to cut-through. Our internal communications campaign paired simple, character-based illustration with irreverent humour to drive the message home.
